All things on the earth are connected like the blood that unites one family. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of the earth. Man didn’t weave the web of life; he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.

Ignorance is a misfortune. However, a proper awareness of the problems related with wildlife, natural ecosystems, their degradation and conservation is lacking even in literates. A number of ecologically damaging activities could be stopped simply by providing adequate understanding of the consequences involved to the people who indulge in such activities.

Developmental problems in Nepal, as evidenced in many other countries, are a matter of great concern for all of us. A long-term solution to this problem is only possible through an effective and appropriate education and research.

Let’s be united to save the mother earth and flourish the development integration with environment conservation.
